John W. Holshouser

John W. Holshouser passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 83.

He was born on January 4, 1943, in Rowan County to the late Jesse C. Holshouser and Neta Karriker Holshouser.

John attended Tabernacle Baptist Church. He loved his cats, going out to eat, and listening to his music.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Judy Correll and Libby Thornton.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers Bob Holshouser and Steve Holshouser, and his sisters Betty Cauble (Charlie), Linda Sanders (Larry), and Carolyn Lackey (Ronnie).

A graveside service will be held Thursday February 19, 2026, at 10:00 am at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Comm Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
