Obituary

Margaret Casey Gobble, 67, of Salisbury, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. She was born February 26, 1950 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Junior Harvey Casey and Katherine Green Casey. She graduated from East Rowan High School class of 1968. Mrs. Gobble worked for the county in the tax assessor’s office as a mapper and worked for the Rowan County Clerk of Court in the estate department until retirement. She was a member of the Rowan-Salisbury business professional women’s’ association. Mrs. Gobble was also a member of the Trading Ford Baptist Church.
Preceding in death was her brother Bruce Casey of Rockwell.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 33 years, James Robert Gobble; step son Jonathan Gobble (Adele) of Newton; stepdaughter Melissa Gobble Riordan and (Patrick) of Banner Elk, five Step-Grandchildren Quinn, Jessie, Zachary, Silas & Callan; Nephews Mike Casey of Kannapolis, his children (Amber (Adam) and Kaley Brook) and 4 grandchildren (Kevin, Candace, Adam, Andrew), Rick Casey (Mandi) and their children (Taylor, Jessie, Tyler, Parker) and 1 grandchild (Piper); brother Harvey Casey (Sharon) of California and his 3 children. Her brother Bruces' wife Penny of Rockwell and their children (Chad and Bryant) and family.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm -2:30pm Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at Trading Ford Baptist Church 3600 Long Ferry Rd Salisbury, NC 28146 in the sanctuary.
Graveside Service will follow at the church cemetery at 3:00pm Friday, November 3rd at Trading Ford Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Motley officiating.
