Cynthia “Cindy” Kepley Shaver, of Salisbury, North Carolina, went home to be with her Lord after a long illness on August 10th surrounded by her loving family.

Cindy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Her family and friends were her greatest joy. Visits and dinners with Cindy created countless memories her family will always cherish. She was a totally selfless individual who always put others before herself.
She was a manager at Hardees of China Grove and worked mowing the interstate for 15 years.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her sister Becky Kepley.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Thomas Shaver of Salisbury who was the love of her life, two sons Wayne Weatherford and companion Trish of Mooresville, Tony Weatherford and companion Brenda of Salisbury, adopted daughter of Cindy, April Weatherford of Conover, four very special grandchildren Dylan Weatherford, Hailey Weatherford, Austin Weatherford, Ross Weatherford, one brother Lloyd Kepley and wife Becky of Lexington, three sisters Robin Black and husband Keith of Gold Hill, Elaine Lagamba and husband Mike of Shallotte, Belinda Haywood and husband James of Rockwell, and many friends.
A celebration of her life will be at a later date.
