Obituary

Dorothy Hale Ridenhour, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Salisbury, passed from this life August 2nd.

A devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great grandmother, Dorothy was a kind and caring soul. Her family and friends were her greatest joy. Visits and dinners with Dorothy created countless memories her family will always cherish.
While in Salisbury, she was active in American Business Women of America, The Lady Elks, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Harold B. Jarrett American Legion Post.
She leaves behind her loving daughter Debra Tweed(Mickey), grandson Devin Tweed(Helen), and three great grandsons
Liam, Tommy, and Burton Tweed, two sisters Judith Shephard, Carolyn Kinser(Bob), and two brothers Larry Sammons(Linda), and Charles Sammons(Kim). Also, numerous nieces and nephews all of whom she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by two husbands Raymond B. Hale, and Harold R. (Fuzzy) Ridenhour.
Visitation: will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 9, 2017. at Cleveland First Baptist Church, 200 Maple Street, Cleveland, NC 27013.
Service: 11:00 AM Cleveland First Baptist Church with interment following at Rowan Memorial Park.
